与往季不同，本季Becks也卷入了一场谋杀案中，她和两位好友里应外合，终于找出关键性线索，解决了人证物证（监控视频）俱全的情况下，无法指认凶手的问题。
Judith在这一季久违的在河中游了泳，她游泳时对水位的观察与记录对找出真正的凶手有着巨大帮助。
每个人都有秘密，有的秘密是为了保护谁，有的秘密是为了掩盖真相，是当事人不愿意面对的黑历史。虽然这是部探案剧，但剧中一些无厘头的幽默，缓解了紧张刺激的氛围。两集一案的节奏虽然慢但是也很符合小镇生活的基调，整体还是很好看的！
