就零散说一下想法,有时间再整理组织下语言。
一直觉得这个系列有个很大的问题:lore的概念非常模糊。

因此我个人理解的传说有以下几个特点:有一定的年代、在某一地区流传并具有影响力、通常伴有特定事件或故事的描述、通常带有超自然的色彩。
第一季的六集主题:
E1 吸血鬼传说
E2 精神病脑叶白质切除疗法
E3 爱尔兰妖精替换人类传说
E4 降灵术
E5 狼人
E6 恐怖娃娃
第二季的六集主题:
E1 盗墓者
E2 吸血女伯爵
E3 小镇悬案
E4 布拉格天文钟诅咒
E5 女巫审判
E6 科学与魔法
各人的标准不同,但个人认为第一季里较为贴近传说的含义的:E1、E3、E4、E5;第二季里较为贴近传说的含义的:E1、E2、E5。第一季E2和第二季E6或许是和科学关联太强,我无法把它跟“传说”联系上。第一季E6和第二季E3或是流传的年代还不够久,另外悬案这种即便是有灵异猜测也算不上是一种传说。第二季E4是我无法找到相关的资料,很难说是不是编剧联系黑死病历史而编出来的故事,暂且不算进去。
因此,这个系列的选材混乱可能会影响到观众对它的理解和印象,从而影响整个系列的质量。
说到选材,在这也探讨一下第一季和第二季的风格形式问题。很明显,第一季带有解说,并且在主线故事中穿插相关材料作为引申,而第二季则是纯剧情形式。这两种各有利弊。带有解说和引申材料可以让观众更了解跟这个传说相关的信息及它的影响,也容易带来更多进一步的思考。但是同时也会有观众觉得单集结构分散,且解说影响了故事的代入感。相信主创也是是考虑到这点,第二季的解说只在结尾简单点出,改为整个故事的戏说重现。但因此对一些观众来说也缺乏更多的介绍,只能浅显地了解这个传说本身是什么故事,带来的思考也相对少了。另外一个很明显的改变是,每集的长度参差不齐,大概半个小时到一个小时不等,这种不统一也显得主创把控能力不佳。但看IMDB评分来说,观众似乎更喜欢第二季的剧情模式,每集评分基本达到8分以上,而第一季每集评分则平均7点多。
